Jilly Does PADI!Day 2: Still trying to get there!! Well its kind of day 2 and its 4.30 in the morning and time to move on. Let me explain Bianca's choloate and sweets addiction ( yes I have found someone worse than me and Sian). When we got off the plane, we found a Cadbury's pick n mix shop. She was like a mad woman, coming out with bags of goodies in tow. One of the most common questions throughout the night has been "Do you want some chocolate?" So, we leave our new home of 6 hours at Macdonalds, and move to sales desk at Air Asia. Garry Checks in for his flight, we say goodbye with a "See you in either 1/2 hour or 14 hours". Back at the sales desk, the rather rude woman tells us that without 48 hours' notice, she can't change the ticket, and if we want to fl,y we have to buy. I told her I emailed them twice to try to change it but got no reply (which is true). No good, we have to buy a new one and the price has gone from 79RM (£17) to 424RM (£90). If we want to complain, we should go to the service desk after check in. Yeah like they are gonna do anything after we've already paid up!!!!! Well we did pay, OUCH, but with the prostpect of 14 hours in this airport verses £90? - £90 all the way. At check in, the man tells us we are 9 kg overweight (terribly rude to say that about us. Oh no! Sorry, you mean the bags?) In fact, we are 17 kg overweight, but Bianca has her knee slightly lifting the bags off the scale. Of course, I am sure she didnt realise it though!!! oops!! I also told the man of the problems that we had had with the first ticket, and that we had we had paid extra for the extra luggage because of our scuba diving kit, however the woman hadn't transferred it (first lie). He said could he see our return tickets to check, as it would be written on there. Oh no sorry sir they are on my computer as I havent printed them yet (sorry, second lie). And we are through! HEHEHE Sorry Air Asia, but you bumped me off my first flight at 10.30, moved me to a 19.30 flight, didnt return my emails and charged me again for a new flight. So, we then go to the customer service desk and tell him our woes. He rips up our boarding passes and we think he must have misunderstood and is putting us back on the 19.30 flight!! He prints out a new boarding pass and says wait over there and I will get your money back!!! WE LOVE YOU AIR ASIA!!!! BACK TO DAY ONE: ON TO DAY THREE: Email: |
